Manchester United manager David Moyes can barely afford another disappointment. His team were beaten 3-2 at home by West Brom on Saturday and find themselves languishing in 12th position in the Premier League.

A resounding response in the Champions League is called for. United, who won their opening match in Group A against Bayer Leverkusen, travel to Ukraine next for a test against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Shakhtar beat Real Sociedad, 2-0, in their opener and are unbeaten in six homes games in all competitions, as per Soccerway.

Team-wise, according to BBC Sport, Robin van Persie will almost certainly return to United's starting lineup Wednesday night. Rio Ferdinand, Anderson, Fabio and Wilfried Zaha are all out injured and have not made the trip to Ukraine.
