The latest version of FIFA 14's Ultimate Team of the Week features a potentially devastating midfield. With chemistry as a major factor in Ultimate Team this year, the national ties in this squad would seemingly make them tough, but there is little-to-no continuity in other units. The chemistry rating for the entire squad is just a 49, but the average overall rating is an 81, per FUTWiz.com.
Spain is well represented on this fictitious club. Three of the four midfielders call the country home, and that national connection will result in a boost for the entire unit. Here's a look at the Spanish connection:
Koke, Atletico de Madrid, 21 years old—82 overall rating
The young star from La Liga excels in the creative aspect of the game. Koke doesn't have a rating lower than 81 in any creative category. On average, his creative ratings are 86.1.
As a left-midfielder, this is key in setting up opportunities for himself and his teammates. Per ESPN, Koke already has two goals and six assists in seven games.
Isco, Real Madrid, 21 years old—85 overall rating
Just one spot over from Koke is another talented, young Spaniard. Madrid's brilliant central-attacking midfielder is the third-highest rated player on the Team of the Week. He's without any major weakness beyond his defense.
The defensive ratings are the only section in which he doesn't have at least one rating of 85. He has four goals and an assist in seven games this season, per ESPN.
Pedro, FC Barcelona, 26 years old—86 overall rating
As an attacker, Pedro is one of the most talented players in the world. His attacking ratings average an 84.2 in the game. The right-winger has been on fire early on for Barca.
He has five goals in seven games. Only teammate Lionel Messi, Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Diego Costa of Atletico Madrid have scored more goals in La Liga so far this year.
With Koke, Isco and Pedro in place to set up the strikers, this club will be no picnic.
