The Remy goal:
Remy drills over the bar on his left foot. Goodison edgy. It shouldn't have been.— Neil Jones (@neiljonesecho) September 30, 2013
90+2' Stones replaces Osman for Everton.
Debuchy's ball into the box ping-ponged around before landing at the feet of Remy, who stabbed it past Howard.
89' GOAL NEWCASTLE! Remy has given Newcastle a glimmer of hope!
87' Naismith replaces Barkley, who was exceptional.
Naismith coming on for Everton soon. Deulofeu just had a sight of goal, denied by a combination of Krul and Debuchy.— Neil Jones (@neiljonesecho) September 30, 2013
85' Deulofeu races down the left but is dispossessed. Everton eager to end the night with a fourth goal.
83' Cabaye with another hit and it's a Barry handball. Free kick from just outside the box taken by Cabaye, but it's off the wall and out for a throw.
Baines off target with a fierce strike after Barkley's sublime backheel.— Neil Jones (@neiljonesecho) September 30, 2013
80' Barry goes into the book for a foul on Tiote. We're into the final 10 minutes at Goodison, now. Newcastle have done well to get a foothold in the match following a disastrous first half, but they still need two moments of magic to pull this level. At the moment it looks as though Everton will go fourth.
78' Leighton Baines with his first attacking free kick of the evening following Tiote's challenge on Coleman, but it's well off the mark.
76' Barkley's shot goes high over the target. Baines had laid the ball off for McCarthy, who fed it to Barkley.
73' Deulofeu replaces Mirallas for Everton.
69' Cisse replaces Anita for Newcastle. So Cabaye's staying on, although he's visibly struggling.
67' Coleman feeds the ball to Lukaku, but the Belgian's drive is high and wide as he's closed down by Tiote.
67' Cabaye looks to have picked up a knock. Newcastle certainly can't afford to lose him given how he's changed the whole complexion of the match.
64' Lukaku and Coleman each take shots in quick succession but both are blocked. Newcastle regain possession and go downfield again. They're doing ever so much better this period - showing intensity and winning back the ball. Still could do with some better passing, though.
Cabaye has already had 15 touches since coming on, completing 86% of his passes and scoring a goal.
Newcastle have responded well after the break. Anita has just forced Howard into a save with a 20-yard strike, and Cabaye is looking sharp.— Neil Jones (@neiljonesecho) September 30, 2013
