The Lakers have successfully grabbed a hold of the No. 1 seed in the west on Apr 15.

Though the Lakers won 124-101 over the Sacramento Kings, but the Kings were without lockdown defender Ron Artest and top scorer Kevin Martin.

Kobe Bryant distributed the ball well, leading five players in double figures, though Kobe himself had only 20 points, three rebounds, and five assists.

Pau Gasol shined with 22 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

Lamar Odom had 15 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists. Vladimir Radmonavic had 14 points, two rebounds and four  assists.  Jordan Farmar had 13 points, two rebounds, and three assists, while Ronny Turiaf finished all double figure scorers with 10 points, two rebounds and six assists.

On the Kings side, Quincy Douby was absolutely amazing with 32 points, two rebounds, three assists and was the scorer of the game.

Beno Udrih was amazing with 22 points, four rebounds, and six assists.  John Salmons, had 11 points, nine rebounds and four assists.  Francisco Garcia had 15 points and one rebound alongside four assists, and Shelden Williams ended all double figure scorers for the Kings with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist.

All players fought hard, and it was a great night for the Lakers.

CONGRATS!
