Analyzing Robert Woods' Long-Term Fantasy Value with Buffalo Bills in 2013
Robert Woods has been decent through the first three weeks of his NFL career, but he has fantasy owners paying attention to him this week.
The rookie entered Week 4 with seven receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown. He is on pace to top those numbers in the Buffalo Bills' game against the Baltimore Ravens.
After a huge first half, things calmed down for Woods, but he still finished with 80 yards and a touchdown on four catches. His 42-yard touchdown reception gave his team a 13-6 lead.
Woods' big-play ability is the reason the Bills drafted him. It would've been tough to expect him and quarterback E.J. Manuel to have instant chemistry. Both rookies are still adjusting to the NFL, but it looks like they are finally connecting.
The receiver has seen his targets increase every week, so fantasy owners in need of help at wideout or flex should consider giving Woods a look. The 21-year-old could quickly turn into one of the best young receivers as he works with Manuel.
