Andrei Arlovski to Fight Brett Rogers at June 6 Strikeforce Event

Multiple MMA websites are reporting that Andrei Arlovski and Brett Rogers will meet at Strikeforce's June 6 event.

This fight comes as a bit of a surprise as it has long been reported that Arlovski would next step into the ring as a boxer.  Arlovski has been training with boxing guru Freddie Roach since before he fought Fedor to improve his hands and prepare himself for the jump to the "sweet science."

Rogers is a 9-0 ex-EliteXC fighter who is probably best known for his beef with Kimbo Slice.  Rogers last faced and beat Abongo Humphrey on the April 11 Strikeforce card.

I'm a fan of both Arlovski and Rogers but I feel like Strikeforce is throwing Rogers to the wolves a bit.  Arlovski is better and more experienced at all facets of the MMA game and Rogers has most recently been working at a tire shop while his contract with EliteXC was in limbo.
