The Missing Pieces

Latecomers to the current WWE spotlight, The Wyatt Family, Fandango and RVD aren't slated for the roster to start, but they could be added as downloadable content. The plans for the post-release content haven't been announced yet, but the options we've already learned about have many fans excited.

During Monday Night Raw, the roster was discussed and a new trailer was shown. Goldberg and The Shield’s signature entrance was shown as well as footage that would indicate The Shield’s three-on-one attacks will be included. All things considered, there aren’t a ton of glaring omissions.

Some former Superstars like Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy aren’t included because of contractual issues. We can all complain about the game not including the Wyatts or RVD, but the fact is, the rosters are usually finalized at least eight months before release.

With that timeline in place, many of the names you expect to see don’t make the initial roster. Thanks to DLC and the game’s great creation tool and community creations, gamers should have the tools to fill in the gaps created by deadlines and contractual red tape.
