Alabama Crimson Tide Faithful Stay Faithful

The annual Alabama A-Day was held on Sunday April 12 amidst anxiety and questions about whether Alabama could have a repeat performance from last year's shocking 96,000+ attendance (three players were also elected into the Hall of Fame that day too).  Alabama did not fill up Bryant-Denny to capacity, but Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide drew in nearly 73,000, which is a more shocking number when you look at the circumstances surrounding it.

Last year the Tide had a late season collapse leading to a 7-6 record, so to the fact that the fans still have confidence in their head coach and team is a great thing. Secondly, last year Nick Saban became the new head coach and it was such a fiasco and eye opener that people were just so excited to see him run on the field in his suit and tie. With the hype and steep expectations down, some fans took Sunday off from the scrimmage game.

While the numbers indicate that the fans are losing faith, the situation surrounding it does not. It only shows the dedication to the program and the coach.

On another note the Alabama Student Tickets went on sale today (April 15) at 7 a.m. Within four hours all 11,000 tickets were gone.
