Will the Miami Dolphins Win More in 2008?

So what looks to be an easy schedule all things considered.

There are only three teams that had winning records in 2007 that the Dolphins are scheduled to play which include the New England Patriots (16-0) twice as always, the San Diego Chargers (11-5) and Seattle Seahawks (10-6).

Other than a couple of .500 teams from last year, we play a pretty dismal group.

Ignoring the Jets (4-12) from our division, Miami plays the St. Louis Rams (3-13), Oakland Raiders (4-12), Kansas City Chiefs (4-12), San Francisco 49ers (5-11), Baltimore Ravens (5-11), Denver Broncos (7-9), Houston Texas (8-8), and Arizona Cardinals (8-8).

Based on a quick check, it seems the Dolphins are in a three-way tie for 22nd in terms of strength of schedule. I actually thought they would be lower, but playing the Patriots twice probably is what gave them the boost.

Either way, I'll take it.

It would be nice having a good team heading into a year like this as they would almost certainly be in the playoffs. I say almost because a couple years ago that was suppose to be the story and the Dolphins fell flat on their faces.

Nevertheless, this is a rebuilding year, and I'll be happy with wins this year, emphasis on the word being plural.
