Coming off of separate 2-1 victories over the weekend, both Chievo Verona and Juventus will head into their Wednesday Serie A match with plenty of positive momentum.

After suffering defeats in their two previous matches, Chievo were able to take down Udinese on Saturday at home. As a tougher opponent makes their way into the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi, Giuseppe Sannino's squad will be looking to spring an upset that will get them out of the bottom half of the league.

While Juventus may currently sit in fifth place in the Italian top flight, they are just two points off of leaders Roma. With 10 points earned through four matches, the Bianconeri are still undefeated in this young season and a victory over Chievo will be expected as Antonio Conte's men look to keep pace with their fellow Serie A title contenders.

Chievo Verona's Player to Watch:

Luca Rigoni had a spectacular match for Chievo against Udinese on Saturday and much of the same will be expected out of him on Wednesday.

Juventus has a very powerful midfield that can take control of any match against any opponent at any given time, and by lining up against the likes of Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo in the midfield, Rigoni will certainly have his hands full for the entirety of the match.

Rigoni's strengths do lie in the areas of ball control and physicality, but one thing he is not immune to is collecting yellow cards.

If Rigoni finds his way into the referee's book early, he could be in for a long day against the star-studded Juventus midfield.

Juventus' Player to Watch:

Carlos Tevez, F

The beginning of Carlos Tevez's time at Juventus has been a superb one as the Argentinian has scored three goals in four Serie A matches.

Against Chievo's main rival, Hellas Verona, on Saturday, the former Manchester City player was able to find the back of the net in the 40th minute before his strike partner Fernando Llorente sealed the victory five minutes later.

Tevez and Llorente are still learning how to play with each other up front, but with every match played they continue to progress as a formidable duo.

With limited attacking options on the bench for Conte to choose from, expect Tevez to play in his fourth match in two weeks as the Bianconeri look to move further up the Serie A table.

Prediction

Winning a match on the road in any of Europe's big leagues is never easy, but expect Juventus to have their way in this match.

Even if they do rest a few of their star players because of fixture congestion, Juve should be able to outclass the hosts to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

Score: Juventus 3, Chievo 1
