Josh Gordon's Updated 2013 Fantasy Outlook After Week 3
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon got off to a lightning-fast start on Sunday in his team's Week 3 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, going over 100 yards receiving in the first half alone.
The stellar performance is sure to make Gordon a hot commodity across fantasy football leagues heading into Week 4.
In addition to reeling in four balls for 103 yards and a touchdown, Gordon picked up 22 yards on a running play. What's also encouraging for Gordon owners or potential ones is that the second-year player was targeted more than a dozen times in the first half against Minnesota.
Remember, this is a player that recorded 50 receptions for 805 yards and five touchdowns last season.
Those who currently own Gordon now have an excellent trade chip and might consider moving the wide receiver in exchange for another player. After all, the Vikings' pass defense ranks 26th in the league, and this sort of performance can't be expected from Gordon week in and week out.
