Chris Ivory Injury: Bilal Powell Will Become New York Jets' Featured Back
The New York Jets entered the season with uncertainty at the running back position. Chris Ivory is a respected power back and Bilal Powell has upside, but neither played had emerged as the No. 1 option in New York.
Jane McManus of ESPN New York reports that Ivory is now nursing a hamstring injury.

Powell has responded well.
The former Louisville star finished the day with more than 100 yards rushing, carrying the ball both between the numbers and outside-of-the-tackles. One week removed from rushing for his first touchdown of the season, Powell further distanced himself from Ivory.
At this point, the running back "controversy" seems to have been resolved.

Ivory has rushed for 72 yards on 26 carries during his first three appearances with the Jets. In turn, the time for debate seems to have run out.
Powell has separated himself as New York's featured back.
