Nate Burleson's Updated 2013 Fantasy Outlook After Week 3
Nate Burleson is quickly becoming one of Matthew Stafford's favorite targets, and he's someone you need to consider starting on your fantasy football team.
Against the Washington Redskins in Week 3, Burleson caught six passes for 116 yards.
He's caught at least six passes in each of the team's first three games, though his yardage this week was significantly higher than it was in the first two.
For the season, Burleson has now caught 19 passes for 239 yards, and Stafford has targeted him 23 times.
The veteran receiver has a history of producing when his number is called. He's caught 38 touchdowns in his 11 years as a pro, hauling in at least six in three separate seasons.
Though not as flashy or fast as many of the young studs coming into the NFL these days, Burleson is a solid option as your flex. The Lions throw the ball more than just about any team in the league, and he's going to produce solid numbers on a weekly basis.
