Ahmad Bradshaw's Updated 2013 Fantasy Outlook After Week 3
Ahmad Bradshaw turned back the clock in Week 3.
The veteran running back rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, and he added 16 more yards on three catches.
His stellar play was a huge reason the Indianapolis Colts were able to humiliate the San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick Park.
Fantasy owners who started him were not disappointed, but nobody should expect him to continue putting up huge numbers every week.
Why, you ask?
The answer is simple, and it can be expressed in two words: Trent Richardson.
The Colts picked up the No. 3 pick of the 2012 NFL draft for a first-round pick in 2014 in a trade with the Cleveland Browns this past week.
Without much time with the team, Richardson wasn't as involved in the game plan this week as he normally would be, and he'll be receiving the bulk of the carries the rest of the way in 2013.
Bradshaw is a smart handcuff and solid bench player, but it would be foolish to start him over Richardson from here on out.
