In wrestling, just like everything else, eras come and go.

The 80's Hogan Era, The Early 90's Bret Hart era, the LATE 90's "Attitude" era...

Soon the current era and it's superstars will end (if the WWE will let it go).

The following slide show looks at the current WWE roster and who will be the superstars of the next era.

It's time for the WWE to embrace it's future and let go of its past.

Tyson Kidd

Small but quick and athletic, trained by the Harts...need I say more?

Ted Dibiase Jr.

Third-generation wrestler, son of "The Million Dollar Man," currently part of Randy Orton's "Legacy."

Cody Rhodes

Son of 70's and 80's star Dusty Rhodes, also currently part of Randy Orton's "Legacy."

C.M. Punk

Even though he was briefly WWE champion in 2008 and also a former IC and Tag Team Champ, his best days are ahead and he is currently under utilized by the WWE.

M.V.P.

M.V.P. since being "drafted" to RAW is finally getting a big push, with the proper character enhancement and storylines moving forward M.V.P. could definately be a main eventer.

Kofi Kingston

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! This incredible high flyer could be a top draw in the WWE without a doubt.

Shelton Benjamin

"The Gold Standard", like M.V.P., has been getting a decent push as of late, though he still seems to always end up losing.

I think if they find the right character/persona and a compelling storyline for him Shelton absolutely has the ability in the ring to headline a Pay Per View!

Evan Bourne

"Air" Bourne as he is known is AMAZING in the ring! One of the best high flyers of all time already in my opinion.

If he can keep himself injury-free and in the spotlight for a good year or two I can see even being the next Rey Mysterio in both ring excitement and popularity.

The Miz

His mic/smack talking skills are the best of any of the up and coming stars in the WWE today!

The way he calls out and makes fun of some of the current top stars of the WWE reminds me alot of the legendary Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Miz is a decent wrestler as well, but his mouth could take him a long way!

John Morrison

This guy is the "Total Package" (sorry Lex Lugar).

Morrison has the wrestling ability, the physique, and the mic skills to be the next big thing in the WWE.

Many compare him to a young Shawn Michaels, and if his career mimicks HBK's he is without a doubt heading to the top of the WWE!
