Nick Dinsmore was one of the more talented technical grapplers in the WWE developmental system for some time. His look, though, never impressed the WWE brass at the time, leading to many years toiling away from the bright lights.
Dinsmore finally broke through in what was expected to be a short-term storyline as Eric Bischoff's wrestling-obsessed nephew. It was never explained what handicap Eugene experienced. Despite this potentially career-killing storyline, Dinsmore shined in the role and remained on the roster for several years.
Now, Dinsmore is returning to the WWE as a trainer, according to PWInsider.
As we broke in the Elite section of PWInsider.com, Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore has been hired as a trainer by WWE and is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida shortly.
Dinsmore was originally slated to report a few weeks back but the word making the rounds today would be that he would start within the next two weeks.
The report goes on to say that WWE may be hiring additional trainers in the near future. This makes sense as the company continues to grow it's developmental system, stock-piling the Performance Center with a combination of top quality independent talents and raw athletic specimen from other sports like amateur wrestling and football.
