(The Voice of Yankees Universe)

Putting everything that happened in Spring Training behind him, Alex Rodriguez must be feeling really good going forward.

He couldn’t have returned at a better time, with the Yankees coming off a five game losing streak.

The thing that would have driven him nuts was if the team was doing fine without him, but that didn’t happen. This way, Rodriguez could be the hero of the team, and it would show the fans that they actually do need him to be successful.

I never doubted his presence for a second. We all know what he brings to the table and what he is capable of.

Put whatever feelings you have for him to the side, and just root for him on the diamond. Nobody cares if you think he is a cheater, a liar, or a bum…the fact of the matter is that he is on the team now and that’s all that matters.

The Yankees have a 7-2 record since Rodriguez returned to the team. He has three home runs through 29 at-bats.

He hasn’t hit for average just yet, but you shouldn’t worry about that. The big thing is that he is hitting in clutch situations and that's all you can ask from him.

You all know the stats Rodriguez puts up, so you know damn well he won’t be sitting at a .172 average by the end of the season. His season has barely started.———————————————————————————————————
