With another exciting week of football under our belts, here are the Lester’s Legends 2013 Week 3 fantasy football kicker rankings.
1. Stephen Gostkowski, New England Patriots
Stephen Gostkowski has kicked five field goals and three extra points as the New England Patriots have had to settle for field goals with their offense sputtering more than we've grown accustomed to.
This week, they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have allowed a league-high six field goals.
2. Garrett Hartley, New Orleans Saints
Garrett Hartley is second among kickers in scoring with 21 points on six field goals and three extra points. He's taking on the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed four field goals and four extra points.
In the New Orleans Saints' high-powered offense, Hartley is a good bet to continue to score in bunches.
3. Blair Walsh, Minnesota Vikings
Blair Walsh has four field goals and six extra points on the young season. He's always a threat to make long field goals as the Minnesota Vikings tend to have drives stalled due to their quarterback play.
They are facing the Cleveland Browns, who have allowed three field goals and four extra points.
4. Dan Bailey, Dallas Cowboys
Dan Bailey leads all kickers in scoring with 22 points on six field goals and four extra points.
He's taking on the St. Louis Rams, who have allowed two field goals and seven extra points. He nailed kicks from 51 and 53 yards last week.
5. Alex Henery, Philadelphia Eagles
Alex Henery has four field goals and seven extra points as the Philadelphia Eagles have scored at least 30 points in both games.
He's facing the Kansas City Chiefs, who have allowed three field goals and an extra point.
6. Sebastian Janikowski, Oakland Raiders
Sebastian Janikowski has five field goals and three extra points for the Oakland Raiders. He is taking on the Denver Broncos, who have allowed five field goals and five extra points.
Seabass has the leg to kick long field goals, particularly in the thin air of Mile High Stadium.
7. Greg Zuerlein, St. Louis Rams
Greg Zuerlein has five field goals and four extra points as the St. Louis Rams have shown improvement on offense.
He's facing the Dallas Cowboys, who have allowed two field goals and six extra points.
8. Phil Dawson, San Francisco 49ers
Phil Dawson has three field goals and four extra points as the San Francisco 49ers have been night and day in their two games.
They looked like world beaters in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers, but like a beaten down team last week against the Seattle Seahawks.
9. Steven Hauschka, Seattle Seahawks
Steven Hauschka has four field goals and three extra points. I am expecting the Seattle Seahawks to destroy the Jacksonville Jaguars, so I think he'll be seeing more extra points than field-goal tries. The Jags have allowed four field goals and five extra points.
10. Josh Brown, New York Giants
Josh Brown has four field goals and six extra points. He's facing the Carolina Panthers, who have allowed five field goals and one extra point.
