Biggest Winners and Losers for Week 2 of the NFL

BR StudiosFeatured Columnist IVJanuary 10, 2017

Manning Bowl III was clearly won by the elder Manning. Peyton was methodical, tossing two touchdowns and 307 yards in the Broncos' 41-23 win versus the New York Giants. It wasn't close—Peyton came away as the big winner.

Eli Manning continued to play from behind and not succeed, was intercepted four times to add to his league-leading seven INTs. Eli is now 0-3 versus his older brother.

Redskins fans had high hopes to march into Green Bay and see the RGIII rookie version. Unfortunately, the second-year quarterback looked like a shell of himself against the Packers.

Yes, Griffin threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns. But most of those stats were padded in the second half when the Packers had a huge lead. The Redskins drop to 0-2 and are big Week 2 losers.

The Packers, meanwhile, showed they resiliency, bouncing back from a tough loss to the 49ers to crush Washington, 38-20. Aaron Rodgers spent another day in the office with an amazing 480 yards and four TDs. The Packers even had a huge running game going with James Starks rushing for a career-high 132 yards.

Check out the video above as Aaron Nagler has the rest of the day's winners and losers.
