Ohio State 52, Cal 34 — Final

On the road for the first time this season, the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Cal Golden Bears 52-34 on Saturday.

The Buckeyes (3-0) got a huge performance from backup quarterback Kenny Guiton, who was filling in for the injured Braxton Miller. Guiton completed 21 of 32 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns (no interceptions) and also ran for 92 yards on 14 carries.

Running back Jordan Hall also had a huge game, running for a career-high 168 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. 

The Golden Bears (1-2) were efficient offensively, piling up 503 total yards, but they surrendered 608 yards to the Buckeyes, including 332 on the ground.
