Barcelona vs. Sevilla: La Liga Live Score, Highlights, Recap
Camp Nou—Catalonia, Spain
Barcelona 3-2 Sevilla
Barcelona continued their perfect start to the new Liga season, beating Sevilla 3-2 at Camp Nou on Saturday evening.
Dani Alves opened the scoring with a back-post header in the first half, then Lionel Messi slammed home to make it two. Sevilla had a goal seemingly wrongly disallowed and it only fired them up, drawing level in the 9th minute after strikes from Ivan Rakitic and Coke.
But Barca had the last laugh, with Alexis Sanchez bundling home from six yards with one of the last kicks of the game.
That was chaos. Thanks for joining us, and stay tuned for a full report and player grades!
BARCA SCORE! THEY'VE WON IT!
Messi fixes it, surging into the box down the right, cutting it back from the byline and Alexis bundles it home!
90+2'—Marin cuts in from the left and nearly wins it for Sevilla!
GOAL! Sevilla equalise!
Remarkable! Vital defensive action from Adriano clears a dangerous cross from Byan Rabello, and the corner is volleyed home from Coke. Excellent finish.
88'—Adriano goes into the book for a cynical foul and Sevilla can sense a late equaliser. The home side, as usual have struggled with aerial deliveries.
84'—Sevilla are still pressing, and their attacking outlook is leaving holes. Messi runs through the centre, lays it off to Neymar on the left and instead of shooting, he tries to play it back.
They're trying too hard to help each other.
GOAL! Sevilla pull one back!
Fantastic work on the left, Vitolo brings it into the box, skips two challenges and lays it off for Ivan Rakitic. He smashes it low into the box. Brilliant, and deserved.
GOAL! Messi doubles the lead!
He must have heard me.
Cesc finds Neymar out on the left flank, and the Brazilian fires a first-time ball into the box and Messi fires into the roof of the net from 16 yards. Super buildup, super finish.
72'—First sign of life from Lionel Messi?
He twists, turns and fires just over from outside the box. A very underwhelming performance so far.
Barca's third and final sub sees Iniesta make way for Cesc Fabregas.
68'—Marin on, Cristoforo off. The latter, a youngster, has impressed.
66'—Still struggling to see why that one was disallowed, if anyone knows, drop it in the comments!
63'—Corner comes in and Cala heads home, but the whistle has gone! Celebrations cut short.
Can't see a foul, to be completely honest.
57'—Rakitic enters the Barcelona box but Pique stands him and dispossess very well. Trochowski comes on for M'Bia in Sevilla's first sub.
54'—More danger for Sevilla in the form of Neymar and Iniesta, but they clear and try to counter. It comes straight back, no surprises there.
50'—Coke goes into the book, that's four yellow cards for Sevilla.
48'—Great work from Neymar as per down the left, leaving Coke for dust
45'—We are underway! Second half live
Barcelona 1-0 Sevilla
45'—Tello steams down the left flank, picks up a great through-ball and Beto saves his cross-cut effort. Super play.

Neymar has been the subject of six fouls already.
40'—Standout performer Neymar is rinsing the left-hand side, and he's just drawn another foul from M'bia, who's on thin ice.
GOAL! Barcelona take the lead!
Concerted pressure from Barca pays off. Adriano swings a great cross in from the left and Dani Alves heads it in at the near post. Remarkable.
33'—A few minutes of pressure from Sevilla end in a counter from Neymar, and again he's fouled and the culprit, Jairo, grabs a yellow card.
