90+6'—FULLTIME: It finishes 0-0 at the Britannia. Arnautovic has the last chance of the afternoon, curling an effort just outside the far corner. Ultimately, City can count themselves fortunate to come away with a point. Stoke were the better side and should have won.
90'—Nastasic fouls Crouch; free-kick for Stoke, right on the edge of the City box. Arnautovic steps up, but his effort is well over the bar.
A goal now would win it.
82'—Huth got caught by Negredo's knee and takes a long time to get to his feet. Smelling salts seem to do the trick and the big centre-half appears intent on continuing. Hardly surprising.
80'—Navas does well to keep the ball in play on the right. His cross is well claimed by Begovic, but it appears Huth has suffered a nasty injury.
77'—CHANGE FOR STOKE: Jones is injured, after taking a fall following a challenge with Nastasic, and is replaced by Peter Crouch.
73'—CITY CHANGE: Jesus Navas comes on for Nasri, as Pellegrini looks for some inspiration.
71'—GREAT SAVE FROM HART! Arnautovic's first contribution results in a dangerous cross from the left. Nastasic tries to clear, but his block is goal-bound and requires a lightning reflex stop from Hart in the City goal.
69'—STOKE CHANGES: Marko Arnautovic and Stephen Ireland replace Etherington and Adam.
66'—Aguero is giving City some ball retention in the final third, which has been sadly lacking.
63'—CITY CHANGE: Aguero replaces Jovetic, who concludes a decent, if unspectacular Premier League debut.
62'—Adam tries from long-distance and brings a save from Hart. He's had a fine game so far, Adam. Meanwhile, Aguero being readied for City on the sideline.
56'—CHANCE FOR JONES! Adam lifts a ball into the box from the left. Jones is up highest at the far post, but he can't keep his header down and it flies over the bar.
54'—Garcia in the book for a cheap foul on Jones.
49'—SO CLOSE TO A STOKE GOAL! Shawcross plays in Cameron on the right, whose cross fizzes across the six-yard box. Nobody can get a touch. At the other end City have a chance. but Jovetic volleys over the bar.
47'—Some early play-acting from Negredo, who gets brushed by Huth and goes down like he's been punched in the face by the incredible Hulk.
46'—And we're away with the second half. No changes to report.
45+1'—HALFTIME! The teams go in level at 0-0, but it's Stoke who've been the more impressive and created the better chances.
They'll be one added minute.
44'—City win a free-kick 25 yards out. Kolarov lines it up, but his left-footed strike soars over the bar. Decent strike, but he couldn't keep it down with spin.
41'—More pressure from Stoke, but Walters' cross is too deep and runs out for a goal-kick.
37'—Stoke on the counter-attack. Play spreads from right to left and comes back again. Really impressive stuff from Hughes' team. They're more than matched City so far.
What a miss by Walters! Glanced his header wide from 3yds out when it would have been easier to score.— David Anderson (@MirrorAnderson) September 14, 2013
More on that Walters miss earlier.
32'—ANOTHER CHANCE FOR STOKE! Jones is sent through from the inside right channel, but his shot is saved by the legs of Hart.
