Tim Tebow News: Latest Rumors and Speculation Surrounding Free-Agent QB
Despite being one of the most popular players in football, Tim Tebow remains unemployed.
The former Denver Broncos and New York Jets quarterback signed with the New England Patriots over the NFL offseason with the hope of making the roster as a backup to Tom Brady.
However, he was waived by the team prior to the start of the regular season, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter:

According to SportsCenter, he was not claimed by any team in the NFL:

Peter King of Sports Illustrated, via John Otano, reported that an organization approached Tebow about switching positions but he refused.
On Oct. 20, a report surfaced that the Rams were interested in Tebow.
This follows along the lines of the message the star posted in his Twitter account shortly after being released:
I would like to thank Mr. Kraft, Coach Belichick, Coach McDaniels and the entire Patriots organization for giving me the opportunity...— Tim Tebow (@TimTebow) August 31, 2013
...to be a part of such a classy organization. I pray for nothing but the best for you all. I will remain in relentless pursuit...— Tim Tebow (@TimTebow) August 31, 2013
...of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback. 2 Corinthians 12:9: And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient...— Tim Tebow (@TimTebow) August 31, 2013
Of course, Tebow does have options if he is willing to lower his standards. According to Nate Davis of USA Today, he received a three-year offer to play for the Arena Football League's LA KISS. The rock band are owners of the expansion team, and bassist Gene Simmons had this to say in a press release:
Acquiring Tebow would not only be a great investment for the team, but his exciting style of play would definitely send shockwaves through the League.
We're excited for the opportunity to see him with an LA KISS uniform on, and for the LA KISS fans to be rockin' their Tebow shirts and jerseys.
Although Tebow has not responded to the offer, he has stated in the past that he has no interest in playing in the AFL or Canadian Football League, according to Mike Garafolo of USA Today.
Things might have changed with his circumstances, but it appears as though he is determined to work for a spot on an NFL roster.
There is plenty of debate around the league whether he would be able to help a team win. He managed to lead the Broncos to the second round of the playoffs with a 7-4 record as a starter in 2011. That season, he helped defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round in a dramatic overtime victory.
However, his inefficient play and 47.9 career completion percentage has kept NFL teams away.
Still, Tebow remains confident that he will get back into the league at some point, and he has tons of fan support to help him do that. The question that remains, though, is what will be his next move.
