Jimmy Fallon, Justin Timberlake and End-Zone Dances Shall Rule the Internet
It's safe to assume the NFL has already fined Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake for having too much fun in the end zone.
Timberlake, the famed singer/actor, was once again on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to deliver hilarity in the form of pop-culture references alongside the show's host.
In the past, the dynamic duo belted out "SexyBack" as part of a barbershop quartet and covered the history of rap. This time around, they ran through the evolution of end-zone dancing with the dedication to authenticity we have come to expect.
They started with some classics like the "Ickey Shuffle" and the "Dirty Bird"—dances that football fans everywhere have come to know and love—before introducing some not-so-familiar celebrations.
It's unfortunate we never got to see two players pretend they were on an old-timey railroad car or reenact a certain famous scene from Ghost. As far as the "selfie" goes, I'd wager that Chad Johnson would have pulled it off by now had he stuck in the league past 2011.
At the tail end, we get what could be the last official "Tebowing" sighting. Remember this, folks—it will be a question on Jeopardy one day.
Get your fill while you can, because this is most certainly the apex of touchdown dances. The NFL is cracking down on this tradition more and more, resulting in a far duller product as the season gets into full swing.
