How I'd Rate the Raiders for Madden NFL 2010

When I saw some of the Raiders ratings, I was quite agitated with some, while others pleased me. These are the ratings that the Raiders should get in the up and coming Madden 2010 video game...I hope that you can enjoy this article as much as I enjoyed writing it. Look through the list and see if you agree or disagree tith any of my views

QB, Jamarcus Russel: 79 overall

Throwing Power: 100
This is where JaMarcus Russel should get some kind of respect, 99 percent of the QBs in the NFL can't throw 75 yards, let alone on their knees...

Throwing Accuracy: 74
He can be quite sketchy sometimes, overthrowing RBs on screen passes. By A lot...

Awareness: 76
I think he has a little more work to do on his reads.

RB, Darren Mcfadden: 82 overall

With his turf toe, much of his season was hindered but here are some stats...

Speed: 97
He ran a 4.33 forty, the kids got wheels...

Elusiveness: 89
When he got hot, he gained 10 yards at a time easily...

Ball-Carrier Vision: 70
This is really the only place I think he struggled with. I saw him a few times running straight into defenders, rather than taking the open field.

WR, Johnnie Lee Higgins: 85 overall

Should have made the Pro Bowl as a returner, but whatever...

Speed: 97
Another speed demon

Elusiveness: 91
Really hard to touch when he is in the open field.

Returning: 98
Best returner in the game right now, better than Hester.

WR, Darrius Heyward-Bey: 80 overall

I was furious when I saw that DHB was only goin to have a 76 rating in Madden '10. Plus, Hakeem Nicks AND Kenny Britt will have higher ratings!!!

Speed: 99
4.3 at the combine, 4.22 personal best...If you want elite speed, he's got it...

Catching: 75
Only because his hands have been suspect in training camp...

Route Running: 84
He comes from a pro-style offense, and he's been running good routes in training camp.

TE, Zach Miller: 88 overall

Future Pro Bowler.

Catching: 96
Ridiculous hands

Speed: 87
He has osme hidden burners

Pass Blocking: 80
He got a lot of practice last year

OT, Khalif Barnes: 87 overall

Run Blocking: 93
Remember, he helped open holes for that great rushing attack in Jacksonville...

Pass Blocking: 79
David Garrard was a Crash test Dummy last year.

OG, Robert Gallery: 89 overall

Pass Blocking: 85
He showed up at the left guard position, protecting J-rus nicely towards the end of the year.

Run Blocking: 90
He has the ability to open up gaps when he wants to.

LB, Kirk Morrison: 88 overall

By far the most underrated Linebacker in the NFL.

Tackling: 92
More than 115 tackles every year of career= beast

Pursuit: 90

CB, Nnamdi Asomugha: 100 overall

The first ever to achieve a 100 overall rating...The best corner in the game, and maybe by the end of his career, the best ever. I have never seen someone epitomize a shut down corner like this guy. He might as well be a created player...RI-DIC-U-LOUS!!!

Man coverage: 100
He has mastered the art of the man-to-man defense, has shut down the best of the best. I can't see this being any lower.

Zone coverage: 98
The Raiders rarely play zone, but if they did, he would still shut it down...

Play recognition: 99
He can tell what route you are running just by your eyes...

CB, Nnamdi Asomugha: 100 overall
