The upcoming Alabama-Texas A&M game that will be played next Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS may be the biggest game of the college football season. The rematch of last year's grueling SEC battle has national championship and SEC title implications, and could also help decide who wins the Heisman.

Needless to say, the game is huge.

But Johnny Manziel doesn't see it that way.

Instead, he looks at the Alabama matchup the same way he saw Sam Houston State last week. It's just another game, per Andrew Gribble of

It feels like another game, feels like week three of the season, Manziel said in quotes distributed by Texas A&M media relations. We have to continue to get better as a team, get better in every aspect: offense, defense, special teams. Having a full lineup and all of our guys back will be nice but for us we have to continue to get better like we did last year and see how things go.

Coach speak? Absolutely. There's no reason to over hype a game and prove that you have fallen for the media bait. While everybody sees this contest as the game of the century and can plug away at more storylines than a blockbuster movie, it really is just another game on the Aggies schedule. A win will only count as one win, the same as the matchup against Rice in the season opener.

Is Alabama-Texas A&M really just another game?

However, Manziel is also downplaying the magnitude of this game. This may be the biggest game in Texas A&M history. A win here not only puts the program in the driver's seat for an SEC title, but it also makes the Aggies the front-runners to appear in the national championship. There aren't many living Texas A&M fans who have witnessed their team hoist a crystal football, as the last championship was won in 1939.

Not only can a win over Alabama provide great things for the program this season, but it also solidifies Texas A&M as an elite SEC school. Two straight wins over Alabama? Um, yes, welcome aboard, you are legit, especially with head coach Nick Saban having a week to prepare for the matchup this time.

Manziel enjoys the spotlight and keeps an open ear to what everybody is saying. He probably hasn't gone a single day without somebody mentioning Alabama and how big the game is for all parties involved. It's a clash between two top 10 teams and the victor controls its own destiny to accomplish what very few teams can.

Once Kyle Field is packed to its limits and both teams take the field, it certainly won't feel like any other game. Every college football fan in the country will be watching, and the outcome will help shape how the rest of the season plays out.

This may be the biggest ordinary game in the history of college football.
