Currently the WWE has two Divas on two different shows vying for the chance to become the first ever Divas Grand Champion.
Yet the WWE is practically ignoring it on both shows. Sure, it's subtly mentioned by announcers, but who pays attention to what they say.
To say it's a surprise that the WWE is ignoring Mickie's run with Maryse in becoming the #1 Contender for the Divas title is putting it mildly. The company's most popular Diva is for many fans the pick to achieve this feat.
As of this writing, there's been no announcement for the two to have a match at the Judgement Day PPV, despite Mickie's singles win, house show singles wins, as well as pinning her in the tag match on Monday Night RAW. Mickie hasn't been in a solo PPV match sine Night of Champions in June.
In the case of Michelle McCool, it's not too big of a surprise there's been no major push since Women's Champion Melina just debuted on Smackdown in a match where she undoubtedly handled McCool.
Michelle herself, at least in blogs, has been trying to get everyone's attention on the possibility of her being the first Grand Champion, but the WWE hasn't followed suit.
Why is the WWE ignoring this historical moment? Is it simply because it has to do with the Divas? I don't think so, at least..I hope not.
