San Diego State vs. Ohio State: Live Score and Highlights
Ohio State 42, San Diego State 7—Final
Braxton Miller went down in the first drive with a slight MCL sprain, but that didn't stop the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes from rolling over the San Diego State Aztects 42-7 Saturday afternoon.
Kenny Guiton was solid standing in for Miller, completing 19 of 28 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns (against one interception) while also running for 83 yards and another touchdown.
Guiton fueled an offense that piled up 445 total yards of offense, but Ohio State's defense dominated. The Buckeyes held San Diego State to just 280 total yards, but more than 100 of those yards came in garbage time in the fourth quarter.
The Buckeyes are now a perfect 14-0 under Urban Meyer and 2-0 this season. With the loss, San Diego State falls to 0-2.

And that's it from Columbus. Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes win game No. 2 by five touchdowns.
Which is longer: a treadmill minute, a microwave minute or the last 60 seconds of a college football game...minute?
Ohio State cornerback Armani Reeves halts a promising San Diego State drive by picking off a Quinn Kaehler pass. Buckeyes take over with less than five minutes to go.
This game is winding down big time. It looks like both coaches have opted for the "let's drain the clock and get out of here" strategy. Buckeyes still up 42-7.
So a man named John Crawford has attended every Ohio State home game since November of 1943? How many wedding invitations has he responded to with the words "NOPE NOPE NOPE" written in big letters on the RSVP?
Why does it always look like the girl in the Wendy’s commercials is eating outside of a cafe in France? That's not my Wendy's experience.
Ohio State fails to convert its third fourth-down conversion, and San Diego State will take over at its own 33-yard line.

Big, if true.
The third quarter is now underway, and penalties kill a promising Ohio State drive. The Buckeyes punt, and the Aztecs take over at the 36.
I don't know about you, but Baylor 56-13 over Buffalo at half makes me start to rethink Ohio State.— Matt Hayes (@Matt_HayesSN) September 7, 2013
Yeah, Matt Hayes, this Ohio State team that is beating San Diego State 35-0 after two quarters with its backup quarterback requires rethinking.
While we're waiting for the start of the third quarter...
Did everyone see the story about Brutus Buckeye crashing a wedding last Saturday? What the media failed to report is that Brutus actually went and yelled at the bride and groom for getting married on a Saturday during college football season.
Obvious takeaway: Don’t get married on a Saturday during college football season. Brutus will show up and yell at you.

Ohio State Up 35-0 at Halftime
The Buckeyes stand inside their own 10-yard line as the half expires, and Ohio State takes a five-touchdown lead into the locker room.

This has been overshadowed by Miller's injury, but it could be a huge loss for the Buckeyes if it turns out to be serious. Steve Miller, though, has been playing very well in his absence and even has a sack.
