Jose Fernandez Allows One Hit in Seven Innings in Second to Last Start

With just two starts left in his rookie season, Marlins rookie right-hander Jose Fernandez allowed just one hit in seven scoreless innings against the Nationals on Friday. He struck out nine, walk two and threw 94 total pitches. The only hit was a dinky little infield single that hugged the line and didn't roll foul in the sixth.
