Former Baltimore Ravens Center Matt Birk Is Ready to Sub in If Necessary

Tristan ThornburghSocial Media StaffSeptember 6, 2013

Former Pro Bowl center Matt Birk played in the NFL from 1998 to 2012, capping off his career with a Super Bowl win with the Baltimore Ravens.

Thursday night marked the first NFL Week 1 Birk didn't take the field in quite sometime, but he wanted to let everyone know that he was ready to sub in.

Perhaps the Ravens could've used Birk at Sports Authority Field: They lost to the Denver Broncos, 49-27.
