We Remember: Steelers Safety Troy Polamalu's Flying Sack

Tristan ThornburghSocial Media StaffSeptember 5, 2013

In honor of the 2013 NFL season kicking off, we look back at one of our favorite defensive plays in recent memory, when Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu jumped over the Tennessee Titans offensive line to sack quarterback Kerry Collins.

With his glorious hair flowing out in midair, it looks like a physically dominant flying squirrel coming over the line to make the tackle.

The Steelers defense caused a total of seven turnovers in this game in 2010 and went on to win 19-11.
