In Days Leading Up to NFL Opener, Denver TV Anchor Vandalizes Joe Flacco Posters

Josh ZerkleChief Writer IIINovember 2, 2016

When was the last time you drew a mustache on somebody's face? Probably before you hit puberty, right?

Enter Denver sports anchor Vic Lombardi, who took it upon himself to deface the Joe Flacco posters adorning the streets of his city in anticipation of the NFL's kickoff game between the Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens. Since Baltimore, the defending AFC champion, was unable to host the game due to a scheduling conflict with MLB's Baltimore Orioles, Flacco and friends will be opening their season in Colorado instead.

That didn't sit well with Lombardi, a Denver native who watched the NFL post signage featuring the Baltimore Ravens quarterback all over town. And so Lombardi grabbed his permanent marker and did what he felt was right.

Join me as we take Lombardi to task in this week's episode of "Let Me Get This Straight." Enjoy my takes on DenverSignGate (or whatever we're calling this) in the video above, and leave your thoughts in the comments below.

As always, thanks for watching.
