This offseason has been a difficult one for Boston Celtics fans, and it got even worse on Tuesday, Sept. 3, as Celtics forward Jared Sullinger was arrested for an alleged domestic situation involving his girlfriend, according to Nikoletta Banushi of MyFoxBoston.com.
Banushi reports that Sullinger turned himself in at a Waltham, Mass., police station at 6 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 3 morning, and he has been charged with assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and witness intimidation.
The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday, Aug. 31, and the charges were officially brought against Sullinger on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Waltham District Court, where the Celtics star pleaded not guilty, per Jack Harper of WCVB.
The chargers were dropped on Monday, Oct. 28.
