The transfer window slams shut at midnight on Tuesday in Spain, and it could be a quiet day at Barcelona.

Coach Tata Martino is happy with his current squad and spokesman Toni Freixa said last week, via Football Espana, that the club have decided provisionally not to sign any more players this summer.

Barca signed Neymar from Santos at the start of the window but had been expected to sign a centre-back.

Both Daniel Agger, via David Anderson of Mirror Football, and David Luiz, via L.F. Rojo and S. Font of Marca, have been heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou, but those reports now look wide of the mark.

Cesc Fabregas also reiterated his desire to stay at Barcelona on TVE show Esport Club last week so it may be a dormant day in the Catalan city—but stranger things have happened in football.
