Rob Gronkowski Injury: Updates on Patriots TE's Status

The New England Patriots offense has struggled this season despite the team's 5-1 start, and a return to the gridiron by star tight end Rob Gronkowski could definitely turn things up.

Following offseason forearm and back surgeries, Gronkowski has yet to play this year.

At the beginning of September, Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston predicted a return at some point between Weeks 3 and 6.

And now, the tight end has been medically cleared for a return in Week 7 to face the Jets, and is active. He is now battling a hamstring injury.
