The Indianapolis Star is reporting that Howard Mudd and Tom Moore have officially filed their paperwork for retiring. Jim Irsay confirmed he has received the "necessary documentation" for the retirement of Tom Moore and Howard Mudd. In one season the Colts just lost their four best coaches; Tom Moore, Howard Mudd, Ron Meeks, and Tony Dungy. Special Teams coordinator Russ Prunell was also not retained, but he is not held to as high of a standard as the other four.
Clyde Christensen is the most likely of the Colts current staff to replace Tom Moore at offensive coordinator. Christensen was just promoted to assistant head coach, after coming from Tampa Bay to Indianapolis as the Colts receivers coach. The San Fransisco 49ers interveiwed Christensen about their offensive coordinator opening this past offseason.
Pete Metzelaars is the moslt likely to replace Howard Mudd at offensive line. Metzelaars was an All-Pro tight end in the NFL, and is currently the Colts tight end coach.
