Nebraska 37, Wyoming 34 - Final

After Nebraska jumped out to a 17-point lead late in the third quarter, it appeared to be all wrapped up for the Cornhuskers.

Wyoming thought otherwise.

The Cowboys crawled to within three late in the game, and they had the ball with 1:07 remaining and a chance to win the game. But Wyoming lost the battle against time and fell short of completing an epic comeback.

Brett Smith outplayed Taylor Martinez and Wyoming out-gained Nebraska, but only the points matter in the end. The Cornhuskers, a 29-point favorite, barely held on to go 1-0 on the season, but there's no doubt that Wyoming is a force to be reckoned with thanks to Smith, and that Nebraska has some issues to iron out moving forward.
