Tristan ThornburghSocial Media StaffAugust 29, 2013

The 2006 Rose Bowl pitted two undefeated teams with the top Heisman candidates in USC's Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart against Texas' QB Vince Young.

The hometown USC Trojans were coming off of a BCS National Championship and were the heavy favorites, but Vince Young put on a performance that will go down as one of the greatest in college football history.

Young passed for 267 yards, rushed for 200 yards and had three touchdowns, none more dramatic than 4th-and-5 rushing TD that was the nail in the coffin for the Trojans, sealing a 41-38 victory for the Longhorns after a two-point conversion.
