MLB Knucklehead of the Week

The saying goes that you can’t predict baseball, but we know this much: Knuckleheadery is going to happen.

We also know that when knuckleheadery does happen in or around Major League Baseball, B/R Pop Culture Lead Writer Gabe Zaldivar and MLB Lead Writer Zachary D. Rymer are going to be on the case.

The past week wasn’t a great one in terms of fodder for the latest “Knucklehead of the Week” segment—new name, same deal—but embattled Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun and Chicago White Sox bench coach Mark Parent made sure there was some. One of them issued a hollow statement about his PED history, and the other got ejected from a game before the first pitch was even thrown.

[Sorta-spoilery note: Braun isn’t playing these days, so you can guess who did what.]
