Evolve or Die: The Truth about the upcoming 2009 Miami Heat

Dwayne Wade :: Miami
Udonis Haslem :: Heat Culture

Rumors are swirling with Udonis Haslem being traded? Dwayne Wade leaving to NYC or Chicago if Pat Riley cannot put a reputable team together by 2010? Fact is Dwayne Wade is a butterfly surrounded by caterpillars. Beasley, Cooke, Wright, and Chalmers must emerge from their cocoon if the heat are to retain Wade in 2009.

JO and Beasley cannot and should not be blamed for the shortcomings of the 2008 campaign, that being said they are fully accountable for this upcoming 2009 season.

Will Tim Grover (the man who resurrected Wade) heal JO's?

There are many questions that will remain unanswered over this summer.

As heat fans we can only hope for modest returns on this upcoming 2009 season. I do hope the heat make a move for Jason Kidd, he is not what he used to be, but for the right price he can be an excellent mentor to Chalmers and Wade will not longer have to dominate the ball.

2009 season hopes and dreams:

Jason Kidd @ PG
Dwade @ SG
Beasley @ SF
Haslem @ PF
JO @ C

I want to see a rejuvenated JO, A bald Cooke- like a young Ray Allen, Dorelle Wright with a healthy knee, James Jones with a knock down three.

I want to see a 48+ win team, placing 4th in the east, dare i say 3rd? Losing to Cleveland in 2nd round,4 games to 3. Then in 2010 I want to see Bosh believe in this team

Jason Kidd @ PG
Dwade @ SG
Beasley @ SF
? @ PF
Bosh @ C

Free up some cap room, make a move we will not regret, sign Kidd and stand pat for 2010. Pat Riley you are a mick snake, trick Colangelo, make the heat relevant again.

this post is intended to be discombobulated and schizophrenic like the current Miami Heat Team.
