It’s getting hot in here.

For some odd reason, MLB teams have been cautious with the axe this season, as MLB.com’s Paul Hagen reported. 

Still, we know the final weeks of the season will cause many seats around the league to heat up. Consider this the calm before the storm.

While some managers have enjoyed brief votes of confidence, they will discover what “this is a business” means when they are let go.

Here is a breakdown of some of the managers who find themselves teetering on the edge of unemployment. 

This isn’t to place blame. As we know, the manager can do only so much. Still, some of these teams and their year-long futility have us thinking the axe will soon begin chopping once again.
