One of the local news stations in St. Louis is reporting that Darius Miles, small forward for the Memphis Grizzlies, was arrested last night in his hometown in Illinois during a traffic stop for marijuana possession. He posted bond and was released.

Miles was drafted by the Clippers straight out of high school, in 2000, and he is a journeyman player, who has been on plenty of teams and hasn't really helped any of them. Last season, for the Grizzlies, he only averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds.  Of course, he was also suspended for ten games for violating the NBA's substance abuse policy, so I am sure that this incident won't help either his team (who seems to need all the help it can get) or his future career prospects much.
