The Texas Longhorns football team will be rocking a retro look this Saturday as they take the field versus New Mexico State. The throwback helmets feature player numbers to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1963 Longhorns national championship team. Texas beat Navy 28-6 the Cotton Bowl.

Head coach Mack Brown will reportedly let the players decide whether or not the team will wear the helmets all season.
