Caps Done, Fall 6-2 in Game Seven
The dream series of the NHL playoffs is over.

A much anticipated game 7 between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins quickly became a dud, as the Capitals fall 6-2 to the Pens Wednesday night at Verizon Center.

When it rains it pours. The Pens out shot the Caps, used 11 1st-period turnovers to score twice and after the fourth goal early in the 2nd, Simeon Varlamov was pulled. Jose Theodore replaced him in net for the remainder of the contest.

At the end, Ovechkin and Crosby shook hands and parted ways. He probably said, "Until we meet again Sid."

And they will meet again.

The Caps end their great season having played 14 playoff games and almost reaching the conference finals.

I guess it's now the waiting game until October rolls around.

LETS GO CAPS!!!
