WWE Raw: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for August 26
Welcome to the Bleacher Report live WWE Monday Night Raw coverage for August 26. Night of Champions is only three weeks away, and with only one bout in place so far, you can expect WWE to start laying the groundwork for more matches and feuds.
Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton will be facing off for the WWE title at NOC after Orton successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Bryan following Bryan's WWE title win over John Cena.
After RVD and Ricardo Rodriguez joined forces, it became pretty clear that this would be the next World title feud, but what about everyone else?
Raw only has one announced match—CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel—so anything could happen throughout the rest of the show.
What's next for Triple H and the McMahon family?
Where has Kane been since SummerSlam?
Have Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns met their match with Big Show and Mark Henry?
Does Damien Sandow plan to cash in his title shot?
And lastly, will Dolph Ziggler ever move on from AJ and Big E. Langston?
Make sure to bookmark this page and come back on Monday at the start of WWE Raw for answers to all these questions and live coverage of all the action!

Overall, this was a solid episode of Raw. It continued several storylines, while establishing a few new ones.
AJ gave an incredible promo, but it was Paul Heyman who stole the show with his convincing emotional performace.

I love that Kofi is referencing his own attack on one of Orton's cars.
Well if he’s just gonna keep leaving his cars around… #RAW— Kofi Kingston (@TrueKofi) August 27, 2013

AJ comes out and mocks Total Divas and the storylines involving all the women at ringside. She calls all the women expendable and not talented enough to be champion.
I am loving this promo from AJ. She is calling all these Divas out on all the things you would hope.
The crowd gets on AJ's side when she says none of the women could lace up her Chuck Taylors. That was a really good promo from AJ.
Punk is shown after the break having a back full of bloody cuts from the kendo stick before we go to the ring for a Divas match. Jojo is the ring announcer for some reason.
I think Lillian Garcia's job is safe.
Foley liked Heyman, too.
Heavy stuff; dramatic, uncomfortable to watch, riveting. #RAW— Mick Foley (@realmickfoley) August 27, 2013
The people chanting "Boring" might not have gotten the full effect of Heyman's performance like those watching at home were able to.
What we just saw was a real emotional story told through wrestling. Heyman's feeling of betrayal was portrayed perfectly by Heyman's verbal and physical performance.
The crying at the end from Heyman really sold it.
Punk gets Heyman in the ring, but Axel hits Punk with a low blow to save Heyman. Heyman hands Axel some handcuffs, and he puts them on Punk.

WWE is having fans vote on the stipulation for the CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel match on the WWE app.
Fandango and Damien Sandow vs. Cody Rhodes and Miz
Apparently Miz's dance partner was Rosa. Her hair color threw me off.
After the break we see Sandow in control of Rhodes. Fandango tags in and keeps up the pressure until he tags Sandow back in for a near fall.
Sandow hits the Elbow of Disdain for another two count. Rhodes and Sandow take each other out with clotheslines, and Miz gets the tag first.

Fandango walks away from the match as Miz hits Sandow with a Skull Crushing Finale for the pin and the win.

Fandango does the thing where he says his name from the stage before he and Summer Rae leave to his music.
Missed the start of #Raw, started back cardio tonight... What have i missed?— Sheamus (@WWESheamus) August 27, 2013
Fandango vs. Cody Rhodes
about one minute into the match we hear Fandango's music hit. Miz comes out with a partner to impersonate Fandango. Rhodes rolls up Fandango off the distraction to get the pin.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes pull a Teddy Long and makes this into a tag match. At least Maddox made reference to the fact that what he was doing was a really obvious move.
I wonder if Miz will stay dressed as Fandango for the match.

Cody Rhodes is in the ring to face Fandango after the break. Damien Sandow is on commentary with his MITB briefcase, which lawler keeps calling a bar of chocolate.
