The most shocking news is that USC isn't on the list. Out of the 21 247Sports predictions, 48 percent had Mixon becoming a Trojan. He unofficially visited USC in April and would have had an opportunity for early playing due to the lack of depth on the Trojans roster.
Mixon announced all five schools with five individual tweets and listed Florida, Cal, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Oregon one by one. However, while a No. 1 sign next to Florida may make Gator fans feel like they're in the driver's seat, Mixon made sure to announce beforehand that none of the schools have an advantage.
Where will Mixon end up?
Mixon, who is from Oakley, Calif., is the type of player who can change a program. At 6'2", 195 pounds, he runs a solid 4.53 time in the 40-yard dash and runs with great power. His best attribute may be his hands, as he's capable of lining up in the slot and may actually spend some time at wide receiver with his tall and thick build.
Out of the schools listed, Mixon attended Cal's Junior Day in March. He's scheduled to officially visit the Golden Bears in September, and Oklahoma and Wisconsin will each get an official visit in October.
