With all the changes in the off-season this year, there are many questions for those in the Bears locker room.
While we often hear from Coach Lovie Smith on what he plans to do this season, what about how his players feel? In particular, Devin Hester.
Coach Smith insists that Hester has the ability to return a punt for a touchdown every time, even if he also has responsibilities as wide receiver.
But last year Hester was so focused on his routes he averaged only 6.2 yards per punt return. Does he want to continue at both positions? Does he like the challenge of becoming a strong WR?
These are the questions left unanswered...
Question 1
When coach moved you up to wide receiver last year how do you think that affected your return game?
Question 2
Do you feel more comfortable as a KR/PR or as a WR? Are you confident you can do both?
Question 3
You set amazing records and became known as the player teams were afraid to kick the ball to. Was it the pressure, the movement to wide receiver or something else that made it more difficult to return the ball last season?
Question 4
What have you noticed as the biggest differences so far with having Jay Cutler as your quarterback instead of Kyle Orton?
Question 5
What do you foresee as the biggest challenges the Bears face this year?
Question 6
What goals will you try to set for the younger guys on the team?
Question 7
What off-season change do you think will have the biggest impact on the team in the long run? Why?
Question 8
Do you think Brett Favre will come out of retirement again? What would that mean for the Bears?
