For the Oklahoma City Thunder, year one is now complete. The NBA playoffs are in full swing and the Thunder are watching it on television. That was pretty much set in stone early on, but this season was not all that bad for the Thunder.

Although the season was rough at best, there are many aspects of the team that make fans look forward to next season.

Scott Brooks is officially head coach. Most of the team improvements came from Brooks, who was named interim head coach after P.J. Carlisimo was let go early in the season.

General Manager Sam Presti signed Brooks full time after seeing the young coach take a team that was predicted to win nine games into a team that won over twenty, being most of the wins after January first.

Sam Presti brought in the right help to make this team better. He showed his commitment to the Thunder by adding key players like Nenad Krstic and Thabo Sefalosha.

And as of this year, the Thunder have a franchise player in Kevin Durant. Durant broke out this year setting several career highs. He was the Thunder's go to guy when they needed a bucket.

Everything is adding up for the Thunder. They are building a team and improving. It is a process that will soon pay off. Year one was a bumpy one, but good things are destined to come.
