Moving day at The Barclays was quite eventful for Gary Woodland and Matt Kuchar.
Kuchar had the lead at the start of the round, but Woodland took command when he ran out four consecutive birdies to close the front nine. Kuchar rebounded nicely with a solid back nine. The two are at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final round, tied for first place with scores of 12-under-par.
The story of the day was Kevin Chappell, who shot a course record 62, and he is one stroke behind the leaders.
Tiger Woods is looming right behind. He's eight-under after shooting a two-under par 69 and he's tied with David Lynn.
The final round of the first FedEx playoff tournament has the potential to be a memorable one.
