Connecticut Little Leaguer Chad Knight had reason to celebrate after hitting the game-tying home run and keeping his team's Little League World Series hopes alive Friday afternoon.

Westport, Connecticut, trailed the kids from Sammamish, Washington, by seven runs at one point before mounting their amazing comeback. A seven-run rally in the bottom of the fifth inning—capped off by Knight's home run swag—knotted it all up at 13.

Knight would then come up with the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh to secure the 14-13 win for the squad from New England.

Westport advances to play Chula Vista, California, in the U.S. championship game on Saturday, with a berth to the Little League World Series title game on the line.
